Ario Wicaksono
Indonesian citizen, 41 years old, He earned his B.Sc. in Environmental Studies from Saint Cloud State University, USA (2006) and his M.Sc. in Environmental Management from Kiel University, Germany (2010). He began his career as Intern at PT Freeport Indonesia (2004) and later held roles at the Minnesota Department of Transportation (2006), PagarHijau (2007–2008), Ecology Centre, Kiel University (2009–2010), and EKONID/AHK Indonesien (2010). From 2011–2013, he was Regional Economy & Good Governance Expert at the Government of Yogyakarta Special Region, and from 2014–2015, Advisor for Sustainable Urban Transport at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). From 2015–2024, he acted as Chairman of PagarHijau.

Currently, he serves as Chief Executive Officer of PT Macker Indonesia Group (2019–Present) and Principal of Rio Residence Property.

2012. ,,Macker" was a nickname given by a group of our german friends who volunteered for a social project in Yogyakarta.
2014. Explored a variety of coffee beans sourced locally.
2016. Supplied building materials and built Java Depot office.
2018. Ventured design NFTs, merchandise and fast-moving goods.
2020. Assessed project feasibility of innovation in pyrolitic technology and market demand of plastic-to-fuel production for future material recycling projects.
2022. Onboard international business market network, ecosystem and supply chain.
2025 Scouting Indowaste technology conference for WISE Clusters.
